Eligibility
Any individual or organization may enter original Western/ Western Swing compositions or traditional Western/ Western Swing albums
released between January 1, 2006 - December 31, 2006, and must be postmarked by
June
1, 2007,
Definition of Categories
Western Music Album/ Western Swing Album/ Western Song/ Western Swing Song/
Traditional Country
~ Released recordings of Traditional Country, Cowboy/Western or Western Swing Albums and Songs.
**IMPORTANT: Winners must attend the awards ceremonies to be held, 2007, to receive the
Will Rogers sculpture. The AWA will not ship Awards to absentee winners.
**Judging
All categories will be judged by independent qualified judges.
Announcement Of Winners
Entrants will receive notification of winning at the Will Rogers Awards Show
September, 2007.
It is up to the each person to notify the AWA who will receive their Award if they can not be present.
The highly coveted Will Rogers statue will be presented to the winner at the Will Rogers Awards
September 2007.
