All categories will be judged by independent qualified judges.
If there are less than 10 they will be grandfathered in for the following year.
Entries will be evaluated on significance of theme and content,
historical accuracy, visual and auditory appeal, cinematography, scripting and acting.

Entries must be submitted on VHS videotape or DVD. Three (3) Copies (non-returnable) of each entry must be

furnished for judging, along with a completed entry form for each copy. The AWA reserves the

right to retain these copies for its film archives. The archives are used for research and education

purposes, and not for profit. In the event the entry is declared a winner, the entrant will be required

to supply a broadcast quality BetaSP copy of the winning entry (non-returnable).

Entries must be labeled on the spine and front of the tape case and on the front of the tape with the

following information: 1. Title of entry. 2. Date of first broadcast or release. 3. Production company

and/or broadcast venue. 4. Running time . 5. Category in which the production is being entered.

Full address and telephone numbers of all parties must be typed or

legibly printed on the entry form for ease in notifying winners.
